About us

Die Villa Erba - internationales Ausstellungs- und Kongresszentrum - befindet sich in Cernobbio, am Ufer des Comer Sees, nur wenige Minuten vom Zentrum von Como entfernt. Das über 100.000 m2 große Anwesen war ursprünglich im Besitz der Familie des Direktors Luchino Visconti. Die Lage der Villa Erba ermöglicht einen einfachen Zugang von Mailand oder der Großstadt aus und bietet hervorragende Verbindungen sowohl an internationale Eisenbahnstrecken als auch an Autobahnen. Dies bedeutet eine schnelle Anbindung an die wichtigsten Flughäfen der Mailänder Region, insbesondere Malpensa. Das Hauptausstellungszentrum wurde vom berühmten Architekten Mario Bellini entworfen und 1988 erbaut. Die Idee war, ein modernes Ausstellungszentrum mit Blick auf den Park und den See zu errichten, das den Stil und die Vielseitigkeit der Gewächshäuser des Sees widerspiegelt. Das Ausstellungsgebäude erstreckt sich über 11.000 Quadratmeter und besteht aus einem Hauptpavillon (1048 m²), der Platz für bis zu 1500 Teilnehmer bietet, und aus drei separaten Flügeln (jeweils etwa 2000 m²), die wiederum in 200 separate Ausstellungsstände oder 28 verschiedene Gruppenräume mit einer Kapazität von jeweils bis zu 300 Gästen aufgeteilt werden können. Zur Anlage gehört auch eine antike Villa, die in ihrem Stil majestätisch ist und in der Empfänge und Galadinner für 500 Gäste veranstaltet werden können. Das historische Gebäude im „umbertinischen“ Stil blickt auf den See und den botanischen Park. Seine Terrassen bieten zusätzliche Veranstaltungsbereiche. Villa Erba arbeitet mit vielen verschiedenen Anbietern zusammen; das bedeutet, dass sie alle notwendigen ergänzenden Dienstleistungen anbieten kann, die für die verschiedenen Veranstaltungen, die sie ausrichten kann, erforderlich sind. Über ein Netzwerk von Unternehmen, in dem Villa Erba der Hauptförderer und Koordinator ist, kann diese Einrichtung auch alle externen Dienstleistungen auf einheitliche Weise anbieten; von der Hotelunterkunft (1400 Zimmer zu festen Preisen) bis hin zu Restaurants, von Transfers vor Ort bis hin zum Zugang zu kulturellen Routen und Initiativen auf dem Gebiet; diese Dienstleistungen integrieren die von Villa Erba durchgeführten Aktivitäten und vereinfachen so die Organisation.
