About us
Das Rathaus von Cheltenham befindet sich am Imperial Square im Zentrum von Cheltenham. Das Rathaus von Cheltenham wurde 1902-03 erbaut, um als Veranstaltungsort für die vielen Bälle und Konzerte zu dienen, die zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts den gesellschaftlichen Kalender der Stadt bildeten. Bis zum Jahr 1900 war diese Rolle von den alten Assembly Rooms in der High Street besetzt worden, und ihr Abriss, um Platz für eine Bank zu machen, veranlasste den Rat, an einem neuen Standort eine neue und viel größere Halle zu bauen. Das Rathaus von Cheltenham wird heute für Konzerte, Bankette, Tagungen, Tänze, Bälle, Ausstellungen und Konferenzen genutzt.
