Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre is an international standard venue that showcases the very best of New Zealand. Te Pae Christchurch is a premium boutique-style convention centre situated in the heart of New Zealand’s South Island. This international standard, beautifully designed facility can cater for conferences up to 2000 persons and is set in a prime central-city position on the banks of the Ōtākaro Avon River and within the centre of New Zealand’s newest City.

Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?
RECYCLE Packaging. We have removed unnecessary packaging from the supply-chain and wherever possible our remaining packaging is compostable. We have removed all single-sue plastics from our front-of-house operation and we are working towards being a 100% plastic free venue.
Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.
Energy. 100% of the energy used in the building is from renewable sources. We continually monitor and analyse our energy outputs.
