About us

The George™ is a full-service boutique hotel located directly across the street from the Texas A&M campus and the Bonfire Memorial. The George named for all the famous Georges in Texas is comprised of large community lounge areas both inside and out with intimate indoor settings with its very own Whiskey Bar-1791 and Poppy Restaurant as well as a 5200 square foot flexible ballroom that connects to the main plaza of Century Square. This hotel has a Texas sized porch that surrounds a modern version of a “local swimming hole” where guests can seamlessly stroll under the covered porch which is equipped with rocking and gliding chairs and relax under the canopy of trees surrounding the pool. Located in the new Century Square mixed-use development surrounded by preferred restaurants, retail and entertainment venues, Century Square Is the new hotspot in Aggieland.
