Die gesamte Höhle befindet sich in der Sierra de Arnero, die sich wiederum in der Sierra del Escudo de Cabuérniga befindet, 20 Minuten mit dem Auto von Comillas entfernt.
Die Qualität, der Weißgrad und vor allem die Fülle seiner exzentrischen oder heliktitischen Formationen sind unvergleichlich. Die Zusammensetzung seiner Formationen ist schlechthin Aragonit, gefolgt von Calcit.
Der Zugang zur Höhle erfolgt mit einer Grubenbahn, die uns 400 Meter durch einen Tunnel mit klimatisierten Bergbaustützen ins Innere bringt. Nachdem wir aus dem Zug ausgestiegen sind, laufen wir 60 Meter entlang einiger alter Bergbaustollen, die uns zur Kammer führen, die Galería Gorda (Fette Galerie) genannt wird. Die gesamte Tour ist perfekt für alle Arten von Besuchern geeignet.
