Maldron Hotel Shandon Cork City, Corks most historic and newly awarded 4 star hotel, is located in the heart of Cork city, the perfect base for your hotel break in the magnificent County Cork. Maldron hotel Shandon Cork City is one of the best located Cork hotels with plenty of amenities and attractions nearby. We have two meeting rooms at our business hotel in Cork City which can cater for up to 70 delegates. accommodation ranges from classic signature Maldron Bedrooms, to the luxury executive rooms and spacious family rooms. Grain & Grill restaurant and Bells Bar are both located on the ground floor of the hotel and serve a fantastic menu with incorporates the very best in locally produced food and craft beers. The Signature Vitality Breakfast is served daily from 7.30am weekdays and 8am on the weekend. Club Vitae Health and fitness is also available for all guests and boasts a 20m pool, steam room, sauna, spa pool, aerobics studio and fully equipped cardio range. open weekdays from 7am to 9pm it is the perfect way to unwind after a long day!

Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?
Yes, Remove plastic straws, remove coasters with plastic backing/replace with paper. Remove small toiletry bottles/soaps & use large refillable bottles. Guest Laundry bags made from corn starch & are bio degradable.
Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.
Yes, Dalata ensures that when negotiating with utility providers, that only green certified electricity is purchased. Hotels in UK, NI and ROI are currently being supplied with 100% green electricity.
