Formerly the country seat of the Armistead family, De Vere Cranage Estate Hotel is still very much a rural retreat today, tucked away in a peaceful corner of Cheshire. Designed by celebrated British architect Lewis Wyatt, red brick, warm yellow sandstone, and pretty green lawns wait to greet you at this Grade II listed building.

Shakerley Mere is an pleasant country park situated near the village of Goostrey in East Cheshire. There are also benches situated around the mere for those who need a rest or pit stop to take in the beauty of the lake. There is plenty of room for parking, which is free. One lap of the mere is about 1 mile.
