Over ons

Op de plek waar Ruby Leni nu staat, was oorspronkelijk een ander hotel gevestigd. Het sterrendom lonkte echter en in 1910 zette het Dusseldorfer Operettenhaus zijn podium op de site. In 1951 nam het Dusseldorfer Schauspielhaus zijn intrek en maakte al snel naam als een van Europa's toonaangevende theaters. Leni ontleent haar naam zelfs aan Helena in Gustav Gründgens' baanbrekende productie van Goethe's Faust, die in de jaren vijftig in première ging in het Schauspielhaus, voordat het een filmklassieker werd. We herinneren ons haar tijd in de schijnwerpers en hebben de toon gezet met antieke rekwisieten en kostuums, evenals vloeiende lijnen, pluche stoffen en zorgvuldig gekozen vintage stukken. Het barmenu is ondertussen zeer modern, van het smakelijke ontbijt en de baristakoffie tot eclectische cocktails en Italiaans geïnspireerde snacks. Op warme avonden kunt u naar het terras gaan om de zon onder te zien gaan en de wereld voorbij te zien gaan. De kamers van Leni weerspiegelen allemaal onze Lean Luxury-stijl, met een groot, comfortabel bed, een regendouche en zachte, zachte handdoeken, terwijl een spiegel in de kleedkamer, decorelementen en een Marshall-versterker zorgen voor een backstage-sfeer.
