Steeped in history, anchored in style. Set within the iconic 1929 Art Deco Carbide & Carbon Building in Chicago’s Loop neighborhood on Michigan Avenue. Pendry Chicago is a modern-day luxury hotel that pays homage to both the past and the present with contemporary, comfortable interiors, signature culinary and cocktail concepts, and inspired gathering spaces throughout that embody the spirit of Chicago. The Pendry Chicago offers a variety of event spaces including our roof top Chateau Carbide. Our historic lobby serves as the gateway to the hotel’s two elegantly appointed towers, offering 364 guest rooms—including 81 spacious suites—designed with a variety of floorplans and city views to suit every guest. • The Grand Ballroom features 3,120 square feet of versatile space crowned by a soaring 20-foot ceiling, creating an impressive setting for your conferences, galas, and social celebrations. • The Gallery Ballroom offers 2,310 square feet of naturally lit space with expansive windows and the flexibility to divide into up to five distinct sections to accommodate your breakouts. • Two dedicated office rooms, each filled with natural light, are conveniently located to support events in both the Grand and Gallery Ballrooms—ideal for planners, production teams, or staff to use throughout your program. • The Michigan Ballroom, with 936 square feet, includes floor to ceiling windows and a charming terrace overlooking iconic Michigan Avenue. • Our Salon Rooms comprise five intimate meeting spaces totaling just over 2,000 square feet—perfect for breakout sessions, smaller meetings, or private discussions. • Chateau Carbide, our rooftop venue, spans 3,024 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. Its terrace showcases stunning east and west facing views of the city skyline, offering an unforgettable backdrop for any event.
