About us

Monteverdi Tuscany ist eine Sammlung von drei exquisit restaurierten Mietvillen und einem Boutique-Hotel mit 12 Zimmern im historischen Dorf Castiglioncello del Trinoro in der südlichen Toskana, Italien. Dieser abgelegene, aber günstige Weiler liegt in gleicher Entfernung zwischen Rom und Florenz und ist die Heimat von Monteverdi Tuscany. In einer einzigartigen Architektur verteilen sich die Zimmer und privaten Villen über das kleine Dorf. Um die Authentizität des Dorfes zu bewahren und die lokale Kultur zu schützen, wurde jedes Gebäude sorgfältig nach seinem ursprünglichen Design renoviert und um moderne Annehmlichkeiten und luxuriöse Möbel erweitert. Das Hotel geht nahtlos in das Dorf über und es wird kein Unterschied zwischen Wohnimmobilien und der Toskana von Monteverdi gemacht.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
