Im Oktober 2014 kündigte das Northwest Meetings + Events Magazine das Ted Ferry Civic Center als „Der beste Tagungs-/Konferenzort in Alaska.“ Auf den zweiten Plätzen standen das Dena'ina Civic & Convention Center und das Hotel Captain Cook. Das Alaska Chapter des American Institute of Architects verlieh dem Ted Ferry Civic Center 1994 den AWARD OF MERIT for Excellence in Architecture. Der moderne Ballsaal des Ted Ferry Civic Center ist 4.500 Quadratmeter groß und verfügt über hohe Decken, Dachgauben, markante Fenster und preisgekrönte Architektur. Die 1.500 Quadratmeter große Bühne grenzt an den Ballsaal an und ist mit der neuesten Ton- und Lichttechnik ausgestattet. Private Besprechungsbereiche werden mit schallisolierten Trennwänden geschaffen. Im Handumdrehen verwandelt sich der Ballsaal in drei separate Räume mit individuellen Soundsystemen und Lichtsteuerungen. Diese Ausstattung, kombiniert mit der voll ausgestatteten professionellen Küche, dem Executive Boardroom und der geschmackvoll eingerichteten Lobby, sorgen für eine absolut vielseitige Einrichtung mit umfassendem Service.
