About us

Das Baan Talay Resort befindet sich am Chaweng Beach, Koh Samuis beliebtestem Strandort, südlich von Chaweng, in der Nähe des Centara Grand Beach Resort. Unsere 54 Bungalows sind geschmackvoll gestaltet und lassen sich in 2 unterschiedliche Themenkonzepte unterteilen. Das Hotel bietet stolz drei Arten von Unterkünften an, darunter Bungalows mit Gartenblick, Bungalows mit Poolblick und Bungalows am Strand. Unsere Bungalows mit Gartenblick sind traditionelle Bungalows im Thai-Stil, die sorgfältig um den Garten unseres Resorts herum angeordnet sind. Unsere Bungalows mit Poolblick und Strandblick sind neu renoviert und bieten ein zeitgemäßes Design mit modernen Annehmlichkeiten.

Soi Green Mango ist für Koh Samui, was Soi Cowboy für Bangkok ist und Walking Street für Pattaya, wenn auch in kleinerem Maßstab. Central Festival Samui beschreibt sich selbst als „den vollständigsten und größten Lifestyle-Einkaufskomplex auf Samui“. Mit drei Stockwerken und rund 90.000 m² Verkaufsfläche könnte es keine bessere Beschreibung für dieses riesige Einkaufs- und Restaurantzentrum geben, das sich zwischen Chaweng's Beach Road und dem nahe gelegenen See befindet.

Historisches Wahrzeichen
Dieser Tempel enthält laut Schild eine Nachbildung von Buddhas Fußabdruck, aber er ist nicht Teil einer Inseltour, sodass Sie ihn „durchfahren“ und selbst dorthin fahren müssen. Auf Ihrem Weg nach oben kommen Sie auch am fabelhaften „Nathalie's Art Palace“ und der Samui-Filiale von Bangkoks berühmter „Q Bar“ vorbei. Um dorthin zu gelangen, halten Sie Ausschau nach dem Q Bar-Schild an der Straße, die die Samui Ring Road mit Chaweng Beach verbindet. Neben seiner Buddha-Reliquie verfügt der Tempel über einen goldenen Chedi (Stupa) und eine Sammlung wunderschöner Statuen. Wie die meisten Tempel in Thailand ist es ein friedlicher Ort, an dem jeder ein paar Stunden meditieren kann.
Muay Thai-Boxen
Das Petchbuncha Boxing Stadium ist das Zentrum von Muay Thai (Thai-Boxen) auf Koh Samui. Thaiboxen oder Muay Thai ist Thailands Nationalsport und gehört zu den anspruchsvollsten Kontaktsportarten der Welt. Es erfordert langes und hartes Training, um in dieser Disziplin hervorragende Leistungen zu erbringen, und immer mehr Menschen auf der ganzen Welt interessieren sich dafür und nehmen diesen Sport auf. Das Petchbuncha Stadium befindet sich am Eingang von Soi Reggae im Zentrum von Chaweng und ist ein großes Gebäude, das Platz für bis zu 1.500 Spieler bietet.

Fußballgolf ist ein originelles und immer beliebteres Spiel, das auf der ganzen Welt immer bekannter wird. Die Idee ist einfach genug: Es ist eine Mischung aus Fußball und Golf, bei der die Spieler versuchen, einen Fußball mit so wenigen „Schlägen“ wie möglich in die 18 Löcher zu steuern — natürlich mit ihren Füßen. Sie und Ihre Gruppe werden mindestens 60 Minuten lang spielen, lachen und genießen. Gleichzeitig können Sie einen erfrischenden tropischen Gartenspaziergang rund um eine wunderschöne Kokosnussplantage genießen, die den „Kurs“ bildet.

Der Aquapark Samui bietet Kindern und ihren Eltern eine aufregende Aktivität am Chaweng Beach. Der Aquapark Samui liegt etwa 40 Meter vom Sand entfernt vor der Monkey Bay Bar zwischen OZO Chaweng und The Library. Er besteht aus großen aufblasbaren Geräten, die eine Vielzahl von unterhaltsamen und herausfordernden Wasseraktivitäten für die ganze Familie in einer sicheren Umgebung unter Aufsicht des Personals ermöglichen.

Chaweng Beach ist Koh Samuis beliebtester Abschnitt mit puderweißem Sand. Die weite Bucht war der Mittelpunkt der Entwicklung der Tourismusbranche der Insel und der majestätische, fünf Kilometer lange Halbmond wird an beiden Enden von felsigen Landzungen begrenzt, mit einem vorgelagerten Riff und der winzigen Insel Koh Matlam im Norden.
