About us
Das Prince Rupert Hotel liegt im Herzen des mittelalterlichen Shrewsbury und hat sich als eines der besten Hotels der Stadt etabliert. Das ehemalige Zuhause von Prinz Rupert, dem Enkel von König James I., verbindet den Charme der alten Welt mit modernem Komfort und beherbergt eine Reihe historischer Elemente. Umgeben von Kopfsteinpflasterstraßen und Tudor-Gebäuden bietet das Prince Rupert eine perfekte Lage, um alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt zu erkunden, die nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt sind. Das Hotel befindet sich seit 1996 im Privatbesitz der Familie Matthews und hat von einem umfangreichen Investitionsprogramm profitiert. Heute verfügt es über 70 Zimmer mit eigenem Bad, darunter die Mansion House Suites aus dem 12. Jahrhundert (einige mit einem Himmelbett mit Himmelbett) und die Tudor-Suiten aus dem 15. Jahrhundert, drei fabelhafte Restaurants, Camellias Tearooms, einen Gartenhof und eine voll ausgestattete Gesundheitssuite. Auf unserem eigenen privaten Parkplatz steht ein Parkservice zur Verfügung.
