Die ersten Schreingebäude wurden hier wahrscheinlich im 6. Jahrhundert errichtet. Der heutige Schrein stammt aus dem 12. Jahrhundert und die harmonisch angeordneten Gebäude zeugen von großem künstlerischem und technischem Können.
