Es war unser Vater, der das Hotel Terme Orvieto gebaut hat, genau hier, nur wenige hundert Meter vom Zentrum von Abano Terme entfernt, in einem wunderschönen Park, in dem einer der zahlreichen Schätze unseres Landes zum Vorschein kam: das Thermalwasser. Und wir, die Familie Carraro, haben uns immer um dieses Familienerbe gekümmert und weiterhin eine alte, weise Philosophie weitergegeben und gleichzeitig ein modernes Management geführt. Heute ist unser Hotel eines der spezialisiertesten und komfortabelsten Gebäude der Gegend und wir werden uns stets bemühen, unseren Gästen den besten Service, Ruhe und Wohlbefinden zu bieten.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
