About us

Das Hotel Tre Re befindet sich im Herzen von Como, nur hundert Meter vom See innerhalb der Stadtmauern entfernt, abseits vom Verkehrslärm. Das Hotel Tre Re bietet 48 komplett eingerichtete Zimmer, die komfortabel und luxuriös sind. Die Zimmer blicken auf den Innenhof oder die ruhigen Straßen der Stadt der Mauern, die ausschließlich Fußgängern vorbehalten sind. Einige Zimmer bieten Platz für körperbehinderte Personen. Das markanteste Merkmal des Hotels ist sein Restaurant. Der Essbereich ist geräumig und hat hohe Decken, wodurch ein einladendes Ambiente entsteht. Die Speisekarte ist typisch italienische Küche mit einer Mischung aus lokaler Tradition. Das Hotelgebäude wurde im Mittelalter erbaut und war ein Kloster. Es wurde kürzlich renoviert, aber der innere Teil ist erhalten geblieben, um seine Geschichte zu erzählen. Es wurde im Jahr 1770 als Hotel in Betrieb genommen und im Jahr 1920 übernahm die Familie Corbella die Leitung bis heute. Das Hotel Tre Re erhielt die Markenqualität für Hotel Enterprise in der Provinz Como.

We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
