About us

An der Stelle, an der Ruby Leni heute steht, befand sich ursprünglich ein anderes Hotel. Der Ruhm winkte jedoch, und 1910 richtete das Düsseldorfer Operettenhaus auf dem Gelände seine Bühne ein. 1951 zog das Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus ein und machte sich schnell einen Namen als eines der führenden Theater Europas. Tatsächlich hat Leni ihren Namen von Helena in Gustav Gründgens' bahnbrechender Inszenierung von Goethes Faust bekommen, die in den 1950er Jahren am Schauspielhaus uraufgeführt wurde, bevor sie zu einem Filmklassiker wurde. In Erinnerung an ihre Zeit im Rampenlicht haben wir die Szene mit antiken Requisiten und Kostümen sowie geschwungenen Linien, Plüschstoffen und sorgfältig ausgewählten Vintage-Stücken in Szene gesetzt. Die Barkarte ist unterdessen durch und durch modern, vom leckeren Frühstück über Barista-Kaffee bis hin zu vielseitigen Cocktails und italienisch inspirierten Snacks. Gehen Sie an warmen Abenden auf die Terrasse, um den Sonnenuntergang und die Welt an sich vorbeiziehen zu sehen. Lenis Zimmer spiegeln alle unseren Lean-Luxury-Stil wider und verfügen über ein großes, bequemes Bett, eine Regendusche und weiche, flauschige Handtücher. Ein Spiegel im Ankleideraum, Kulissenelemente und ein Marshall-Verstärker sorgen für Aufsehen hinter den Kulissen.
