Das Scandic Star Lund ist Südschwedens umfassendste Konferenz- und Kongressstätte und bekannt für seine Flexibilität und seinen erstklassigen Service. Die charakteristische elegante und dennoch robuste Architektur von Lunds Konsthall erinnert an Gebäude, die der Industrie und Wissenschaft gewidmet sind. Es wurde vom Architekten Klas Anselm (1914—80) aus Lund selbst verfasst, der auch die Technische Fakultät der Universität Lund, das Rathaus von Lund und die Malmö Konsthall entwarf.
Die Ausstellungsfläche umfasst rund 650 Quadratmeter in einer Abfolge von größeren und kleineren Räumen auf zwei Stockwerken. Zwei geräumige Hallen mit elf Meter hohen Decken sind durch eine Reihe kleinerer Galerien in einer offenen Lösung miteinander verbunden, die ein offenes Atrium umgibt, das mit Steinplatten gepflastert ist und manchmal auch als Ausstellungsraum genutzt wird.
