About us

Das Scandic Star Lund ist Südschwedens umfassendste Konferenz- und Kongressstätte und bekannt für seine Flexibilität und seinen erstklassigen Service. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Lund wie das Kulturmuseum und die berühmte Kathedrale sind nur 2,5 km entfernt. Das Hotel verfügt über 15 Tagungsräume und 203 gut ausgestattete Gästezimmer zur Unterbringung. Wir bieten Kongresseinrichtungen für 450 Personen mit Unterkunft in geräumigen Zimmern. Wir haben auch flexible Banketträume für bis zu 550 Personen. Wenn Sie einen ungewöhnlichen und flexiblen Rahmen für Ihr Meeting wünschen, buchen Sie unseren Think Tank-Raum. Die charakteristische elegante und dennoch robuste Architektur von Lunds Konsthall erinnert an Gebäude, die der Industrie und Wissenschaft gewidmet sind. Es wurde vom Architekten Klas Anselm (1914—80) aus Lund selbst verfasst, der auch die Technische Fakultät der Universität Lund, das Rathaus von Lund und die Malmö Konsthall entwarf. Die Ausstellungsfläche umfasst rund 650 Quadratmeter in einer Abfolge von größeren und kleineren Räumen auf zwei Stockwerken. Zwei geräumige Hallen mit elf Meter hohen Decken sind durch eine Reihe kleinerer Galerien in einer offenen Lösung miteinander verbunden, die ein offenes Atrium umgibt, das mit Steinplatten gepflastert ist und manchmal auch als Ausstellungsraum genutzt wird.
