About us
Das Sutherland House Hotel and Fish Restaurant befindet sich an der Southwold High Street und ist eines der ältesten und historisch wichtigsten Gebäude in Southwold. Die historischen Merkmale eines Hauses aus dem Jahr 1455, das unter Denkmalschutz steht, stehen im Kontrast zu komfortablen, aber modernen Möbeln und kostbaren Stoffen. Unsere Zimmer haben die Form der ursprünglichen Räume respektiert, daher sind die Zimmer sehr großzügig dimensioniert und verfügen über fabelhafte Originalelemente. Ein Schlittenbett unter einer Decke aus dem Jahr 1660 oder eine sechs Fuß hohe, doppelseitige Pantoffelbadewanne vor einem riesigen Kamin sind zwei der Highlights. Diese Unterkunft ist ein Boutique-Hotel, aber in einem beeindruckenden mittelalterlichen Gebäude, das wirklich anders ist als alle anderen Hotelzimmer in Southwold. Wir haben einen schönen Veranstaltungsraum im Garten von Sutherland House, der für Hochzeiten, Mittagessen, Abendessen und Tagungen für bis zu 60 Gäste genutzt werden kann.
