NeueHouse Hollywood befindet sich am Columbia Square, dem ehemaligen Sitz der CBS Studios und Columbia Broadcasting and Radio, das 1937 von Bill Paley gegründet wurde. Seine hochmodernen Aufnahmestudios und Theater festigten Hollywood als Unterhaltungszentrum des Universums und brachten eine lange Liste künstlerischer und technischer Durchbrüche in den Bereichen Radio, Fernsehen und Musikaufnahmen hervor.
