Am 7. September 1948 bestätigt eine Ausstellung die bedeutende Bereicherung von 78 Keramiken, die in der Madoura-Werkstatt in Vallauris hergestellt wurden.
Am 13. September 1949, anlässlich der Eröffnung der Ausstellung „Tapisseries françaises“, werden neue Räume, die Picassos Gemälden, Keramiken und Zeichnungen gewidmet sind, der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht. Und am 27. Dezember 1966 huldigt die Stadt Antibes erneut Pablo Picasso und das Schloss Grimaldi wird offiziell zum Picasso-Museum, dem ersten Museum, das dem Künstler gewidmet ist.
