About us
Araluen Arts Centre is the focal point of Alice Springs’ performing and visual arts scene, incorporating galleries and a theatre. The annual theatre program includes performances by national touring companies and many high quality local productions. The theatre is also available for the presentation of corporate functions and conferences, in association with the function room and the galleries where suitable. The facility can cater for theatre productions, film screenings, conferences, special functions, festivals and events. The Theatre seat 487 people, and has excellent sight lines from all angles in the auditorium. The Araluen Arts Centre theatre houses many national touring companies on a annual basis, from companies including from the Bell Shakespeare Company, Oz Opera, the Australian Ballet and Circus Oz.
