Das exklusive Hotel Villa Michelangelo ist eine kleine Ecke des Paradieses in dem kleinen Dorf Arcugnano an den Hängen der Berici-Hügel, ein wunderschöner Rückzugsort, der einen erholsamen Aufenthalt garantiert. Die Villa im palladianischen Stil, in der sich das Hotel befindet, wurde im 18. Jahrhundert als Sommerresidenz der aristokratischen Familie Tomi erbaut und ist von einem zwölf Hektar großen Park mit jahrhundertealten Bäumen und herrlichen Olivenhainen umgeben. Die Inneneinrichtung des Hotels bewahrt den ursprünglichen palladianischen Stil der Villa mit hohen Decken, antiken Möbeln und eleganten venezianischen Mosaikböden. Die Villa Michelangelo liegt nur wenige Kilometer von Vicenza entfernt, einer kultivierten, raffinierten Stadt, die zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehört. Die Basilica Palladiana ist ein Renaissance-Gebäude an der zentralen Piazza dei Signori in Vicenza im Nordosten Italiens. Das bemerkenswerteste Merkmal des Gebäudes ist die Loggia, die eines der ersten Beispiele für das sogenannte palladianische Fenster zeigt, das von dem jungen Andrea Palladio entworfen wurde, dessen architektonische Arbeit in der Renaissance und späteren Epochen einen bedeutenden Einfluss auf das Feld haben sollte. Seit 1994 gehört die Basilica Palladiana zusammen mit anderen palladianischen Gebäuden in und um Vicenza zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe „Stadt Vicenza und die palladianischen Villen des Venetiens“.

Das Teatro Olimpico ist ein Theater in Vicenza, Norditalien, das 1580—1585 erbaut wurde. Das Theater war der endgültige Entwurf des italienischen Renaissancearchitekten Andrea Palladio und wurde erst nach seinem Tod fertiggestellt. Die von Vincenzo Scamozzi entworfene Bühnenkulisse, die den Anschein langer Straßen erweckt, die sich bis zum Horizont zurückziehen, wurde 1585 für die Uraufführung im Theater installiert und ist das älteste erhaltene Bühnenbild, das noch existiert. Die gesamte Frontwand im römischen Stil auf der anderen Seite der Bühne besteht aus Holz und Stuck, der Marmor imitiert. Es war die Heimat der Accademia Olimpica, die dort 1555 gegründet wurde.
