About us

18 km von Lucca und eine halbe Stunde von Versilia und Pisa entfernt, liegt Borgo Giusto: inmitten der grünen Kastanienbäume, ein Dorf aus dem 17. Jahrhundert mit einer großen Auswahl an Unterkünften. Borgo Giusto verfügt über 28 Häuser unterschiedlicher Größe, vom großen Haupthaus, der Villa Giosy, für 12 Personen, bis zur Casa di Pilade, einem gemütlichen Studio für zwei Personen, oder den Casa di Adriano und Casa di Gianni. Die Häuser wurden alle nach den Menschen benannt, die zuletzt dort gelebt haben, und oft enthält das Innere noch Gemälde lokaler Künstler — zum Beispiel in der Casa del Pittore. Unser Standort ist mit seiner unverwechselbaren Kombination aus Natur, Kunst und Entspannung eine ideale Kulisse für Geschäftstreffen. In Borgo haben wir zwei attraktive Steinzimmer (bis zu 40 Sitzplätze) in den ehemaligen Bauernhäusern.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
