About us
Des Alpes Restaurant is located near Brookside shopping centre, Osborne road and Mitchelton train station. Established since 1993, we pride ourselves in offering excellent quality and high standard in fresh food; homemade meals; friendly, efficient service with a smile, served in a relaxing, cosy atmosphere. In addition to the restaurant we also provide outside dining on our veranda and a private dining room for Functions. Whenever you are looking for a nice place to eat; want something different for a change; celebrate a Birthday; meet with your family / friends; or just drop in for a quick meal – we will make your dining experience a special one!

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
