Warum sollten Sie unser Reiseziel wählen?
Unter den Städten und Dörfern an der Costa Brava zeichnet sich Cadaqués durch seine Echtheit und Einzigartigkeit aus. Der Name Cadaqués könnte auf die Entwicklung von „Cap de Quers“ (Felsenkap) zurückzuführen sein, da es vor allem in der Gegend von Cap de Creus viele Felsen gibt. Eine weitere Option ist, dass Cadaqués von „Cadaquer“ oder „Cadaquers“ (Wald der Càdecs: Strauch dieses Küstengebiets) abgeleitet ist. Eine dritte Möglichkeit ist, dass Cadaqués die Kombination zweier Wörter griechischen Ursprungs ist, Kata-Kairus, gelegentlicher Hafen (da die Griechen diesen Hafen auf ihren Handelswegen nutzten, wenn schlechtes Wetter sie zwang, die Überfahrt zu unterbrechen).
