Ein steiler Aufstieg ist erforderlich, um die Aussichtsplattform zu erreichen, die einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das umliegende Flachland bietet.
Der erste Teil der Wanderung führt durch eine faszinierende Kalksteinlandschaft. Weiter geht es auf dem Schotterweg. Die Landschaft beginnt, sich in ein tiefes Moor zu verwandeln, wo der unverwechselbare, flache Kamm des Cuilcagh Mountain am Horizont sichtbar ist.
Nach 4 km beginnen Sie Ihre Besteigung des Cuilcagh Mountain. Der Weg wird von einem Abschnitt der Promenade überwunden, der das darunter liegende empfindliche Hochmoor schützt.
Ihr letzter Aufstieg erfolgt über eine steile Treppe, diese ist nichts für schwache Nerven! Während Sie stetig bergauf schlängeln und schlängeln sich durch eine zerklüftete Felslandschaft, um schließlich die Aussichtsplattform zu erreichen. Die Aussichtsplattform am Rande des Bergplateaus bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick über die umliegende Landschaft und die Möglichkeit, eine wohlverdiente Pause einzulegen, bevor Sie mit dem Abstieg beginnen.
