About us

The Royal Elephant Hotel & Conference Centre is a passionate and romantic creation – an endeavour that reveals and celebrates the multitude of traditions, history and splendour of the North Africa and Morocco. The journey commences in the bustling city of Centurion – a nucleus linking the great African business hubs of Johannesburg, Midrand and Pretoria. The Royal Elephant is ideally situated along primary transportation routes, close to three vital airports, and is ideally situated for both business and leisure travellers. And in the manner of the riad’s of Morocco, guests are enveloped by a natural haven of peace and relaxation, along the Hennops River. The hotel proudly boasts with 40 luxurious rooms, two family suites, an executive and presidential suite. State of the art conference & meeting facilities cater for up to 450 delegates in a supreme and technologically advanced conference centre including the refurbished Bondev House. These guest facilities are served by the exclusive Zagora Grill Room, Wine Cellar, Cigar Lounge, Oasis Residents Bar and the Fezorati Coffee Emporium.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!
