Das Castle Inn liegt in einem bewaldeten Cotswold-Tal, durch dessen Herz der weitläufige Bybrook River fließt. Castle Combe ist ein wahrhaft reizvolles Beispiel für das traditionelle englische Dorf. Architektonisch hat sich seit dem 15. Jahrhundert wenig geändert. Es gibt keine Straßenlaternen oder Fernsehantennen.
