About us
Das Shawhill Hotel, Golf and Country Club wurde 1923 als 9-Loch-Platz gegründet. Viele weitere Verbesserungen des ursprünglichen Layouts haben zu dem herrlichen 18-Loch-Meisterschaftsgolfplatz mit Par 72 geführt, der heute in 192 Hektar üppiger Parklandschaft liegt und von Nick Dougherty besucht wird, der auf dem Platz aufgewachsen ist. Es gibt 30 individuell eingerichtete Schlafzimmer, die sich in Größe und Lage unterscheiden und sich sanft an die Zeit des Gebäudes anpassen. Alle Zimmer verfügen über ein eigenes Bad und zur Ausstattung gehören Telefon, TV, Willkommenstablett und 24-Stunden-Zimmerservice. Die meisten Zimmer verfügen über einen Hosenbügler und ein Bügelbrett oder sind auf Anfrage erhältlich. Hochzeiten sind unsere Spezialität bei Shaw Hill. Shaw Hill liegt im Herzen von Lancashire und ist der perfekte Ort für Hochzeiten.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
