Das Ungarische Nationalmuseum sammelt, bewahrt und präsentiert die historischen Relikte des Karpatenbeckens und Ungarns seit 1802. Das majestätische Gebäude wurde von Mihály Pollack erbaut, demselben Architekten, der auch das ursprüngliche Gebäude von Párisi Udvar gebaut hat. In seinem Garten traten verschiedene Künstler auf, darunter Ferenc Liszt. Heute ist der Garten Austragungsort des Museumsfestivals. Auf der Treppe zum Haus wurden Szenen aus dem Film Evita mit Madonna gedreht.
Es ist von unserem Hotel aus mit 10 Minuten zu Fuß, mit der Straßenbahn oder der U-Bahn leicht zu erreichen.
