About us

For visitors, the main village is a ten-minute walk from the property, full of lovely cafes, shops and galleries. Visitors can also take advantage of the beautiful lake walks and trails that extend into the Wombat State Forest beyond. Onsite, the hotel which is a member of the Luxury Lodges of Australia features 33 studios and suites nestled amongst wild country gardens and lake side locations. There is a full-sized tennis court which can also be utilised for a variety of team building activities, and a lakeside infinity pool for pre and post business lapping. The Spa focuses on hydrotherapy utilising the regions famed mineral water springs alongside a variety of signature rituals, therapeutic massage and ayurvedic facials. The beating heart of Lake House is its 2-chef hat restaurant. An award winner since it opened in 1984, this modern country restaurant sets the benchmark for bespoke hospitality and seamlessly caters for both independent travellers, groups and corporate functions across multiple private dining spaces.
