Das Lalbagh Fort (bengalisch:) ist eine Festung in der Altstadt von Dhaka, Bangladesch. Sein Name leitet sich von seinem Viertel Lalbagh ab, was Roter Garten bedeutet. Der Begriff Lalbagh bezieht sich auf rötliche und rosafarbene Architektur aus der Mogulzeit. Das ursprüngliche Fort hieß Fort Aurangabad. Der Bau wurde von Prinz Muhammad Azam Shah begonnen, dem Sohn von Kaiser Aurangzeb und selbst einem zukünftigen Mogulkaiser. Nachdem der Prinz von seinem Vater zurückgerufen worden war, wurde der Bau der Festung von Shaista Khan beaufsichtigt. Der Tod von Shaista Khans Tochter Pari Bibi (Fairy Lady) führte zu einem Stopp des Bauprozesses, offenbar aufgrund von Shaista Khans Aberglauben, das Fort bringe ein schlechtes Omen. Pari Bibi wurde in der Festung begraben.

Es verbindet Louhajang Upazila von Munshiganj und Zazira Upazila von Shariatpur sowie einen kleinen Teil von Shibchar Upazila von Madaripur und verbindet den weniger entwickelten Südwesten des Landes mit den nördlichen und östlichen Regionen. Die Brücke wurde am Morgen des 25. Juni 2022 vom Premierminister Sheikh Hasina mit weißer Taube eingeweiht.
