Sicherlich belegen Werkzeuge, Keramik und andere Artefakte die Existenz permanenter oder semipermanenter Populationen auf der katarischen Halbinsel ab dem 5. Jahrtausend. Das eigens errichtete, 45.000 m² große Ausstellungszentrum von Doha verfügt über 15.000 m² Ausstellungsfläche sowie ein Businesscenter, Tagungs- und VIP-Räume, eine Bank und ein Café.
