About us

Ursprünglich 1867 als Kloster für die Christian Brothers von den renommierten Architekten Ashlin und Pugin erbaut, die für die Gestaltung vieler Parlamentsgebäude in Irland und Großbritannien bekannt sind. Das spätviktorianische Gebäude wurde 2005 von der Familie McGowan renoviert, die das prächtige Gebäude in ein Boutique-Hotel mit 16 Schlafzimmern umgewandelt hat. Das Scholars Townhouse ist derzeit das einzige familiengeführte Hotel in der Region und ist bekannt für seine hervorragende Gastfreundschaft und seinen Kundenservice. Die Familie McGowan Martin, Patricia und ihre beiden Söhne Mark und Glenn führen das Hotel nach einem sehr professionellen Standard, haben jedoch im gesamten Hotel eine gemütliche Atmosphäre geschaffen und versprechen Ihnen ein herzliches irisches Willkommen.
