About us

Bonar Hall wurde 1977 erbaut, um der University of Dundee und den Menschen in Dundee und im Bezirk zu dienen. Die Halle wurde nach Sir Herbert Bonar benannt, einem Mitglied einer bekannten Juteherstellerfamilie in Schottland, der die Finanzierung des Gebäudes bereitstellte. Sir Herbert war sehr daran interessiert, dass die Halle sowohl den Menschen vor Ort als auch der Universität zugute kommen sollte, und damit wurden seine Wünsche erfüllt. Die Bonar Hall ist ein sehr beliebter Ort für alle Arten von gesellschaftlichen Veranstaltungen, ob formell oder informell. Es wurde bewusst so gebaut, dass es flexibel ist, sodass eine Vielzahl von Funktionen in Bonar Hall gleichermaßen zu Hause sind. Es wird oft als Veranstaltungsort für Hochzeiten, Taufen, Konferenzen, Konzerte, Modenschauen, Abendessen und Partys genutzt.
