Das 1993 erbaute Florence Center hat sich zu einem Eckpfeiler eines schnell wachsenden Gebiets neben den I-20 und I-95 entwickelt. In den letzten Jahren wurden in dieser Gegend ein neues Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Spring Hill Suites, Home Depot, Kohl's, Olive Garden und Longhorn Steakhouse eröffnet. Chili's Restaurant, die San Jose Tequila Bar und das Arbor One Center wurden eröffnet, ebenso wie der neue Veterans Memorial Park, der sich neben dem Parkplatz des Zentrums befindet. Unsere Arena (größter Versammlungsbereich) wurde ebenfalls renoviert, darunter eine neue LED-Beleuchtung, ein neues HVAC-System, ein Vorhangsystem für die Einrichtung des Proscenium Theaters sowie ein neues Dach und eine Modernisierung der Bühne.
