About us

Das L'Ultimo Mulino ist ein kleines Hotel im Grünen des Chianti, das Ergebnis einer sorgfältigen Restaurierung einer alten Mühle aus dem Jahr 1400. Alles wurde mit der alleinigen Absicht konzipiert und entworfen, die ursprüngliche Atmosphäre dieses wunderschönen Landhauses zu bewahren. L'Ultimo Mulino befindet sich im Herzen einer der schönsten Gegenden Italiens, dem Chianti Classico. Von hier aus können Sie kleine Dörfer besuchen, die trotz der Zeit intakt geblieben sind, und faszinierende mittelalterliche Burgen, die immer noch in der Pracht vergangener Jahrhunderte erstrahlen. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
