Der Place des Nations ist ein großer Platz im Herzen des internationalen Viertels von Genf, vor dem Hauptsitz der Vereinten Nationen, der für seinen Broken Chair berühmt ist. Der Place des Nations wurde speziell als Ort für die freie Meinungsäußerung vorgeschlagen, ob politisch, religiös, persönlich oder sonstig. Es ist daher oft voll von Menschen, die demonstrieren oder Petitionen ausfüllen. Huge Broken Chair erinnert an die Opfer von Minenkatastrophen. Der Platz selbst besteht aus großen Marmorblöcken und 3 Reihen einfacher Springbrunnen mal 12. Viele Touristen kommen hierher, um ein Foto zu machen, aber auf dem Platz gibt es keine Restaurants oder Erfrischungsmöglichkeiten, außer der Wasserquelle. Viele Stühle rund um den Platz zum Sitzen. Kleiner grüner Park gegenüber der Straße. Es gibt eine Bus- und Straßenbahnhaltestelle Nations, die den Place des Nations mit der Stadt verbindet. Viele internationale Organisationen befinden sich in der Umgebung - UNICEF, WHO, WTO, Rotes Kreuz
