Penrhos ist einzigartig - im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. Erstmals 1280 erbaut, als Edward I., König von England, den Hügel hinunterkam, vorbei an Penrhos, und Kington den Walisern wegnahm. Penrhos hat irgendwie zufällig mehr als siebenhundert Jahre als Farm an der Grenze zwischen Herefordshire und Wales überlebt. Es bietet seinen Gästen 15 elegant gestaltete, komfortable und gut eingerichtete Gästezimmer. Jetzt, nach 40 Jahren Arbeit, Reparatur und Wiederaufbau, entpuppt es sich als das schönste Gebäudeensemble, das man überhaupt finden kann. Das Haupthaus besteht aus drei Epochen, der großen mittelalterlichen Cruck Hall mit steinernen Flaggenböden und einer Kaminecke, einem Kreuzflügel aus dem 15. Jahrhundert und einem elisabethanischen Haus. Das Haus blickt auf einen Innenhof mit einem Teich in der Mitte, der vor Leben summt und blüht. Es bietet seinen Gästen 15 elegant gestaltete, komfortable und gut eingerichtete Gästezimmer. Darüber hinaus bietet es eine Reihe von Paketen für besondere Veranstaltungen, Tagungen, Retreats, Geschäfts- und Firmentreffen an.
