About us

Located on the outskirts of the historic town of Longford, Brickendon is only 20 minutes drive from the Launceston Airport, 30 minutes from Launceston and 1 hour from Devonport - Spirit of Tasmania. Recently listed as a World Heritage Site along with Woolmers Estate, it is one of the most unique sites you will find in Australia. Constructed with recycled materials and traditional building techniques, the three farm cottages ooze personality invite guests to relax and unwind from their busy lives. Our original convict built cottages offer guests a truly memorable experience. With its steep pitched shingle roof, original stained glass windows and mellow timbers of the huon pine pews, the Brickendon Chapel is the perfect venue for your wedding. The delightful intimate garden surrounding the Chapel can also be used and is ideal for guest numbers up to 80.
