About us

Das Rose & Crown Hotel ist eines der ältesten Hotels in Yorkshire und bietet einen Blick auf das Dorf Bainbridge im Herzen des schönen Wensleydale. Vor Hunderten von Jahren war Wensleydale ein dichter Wald und Bainbridge war ein sicherer Hafen für die Förster, die ihn bearbeiteten. Diese Erinnerung setzt sich mit einem Waldhorn in der Empfangshalle fort, das geblasen wurde, um die Förster sicher nach Hause zu führen. Das Hotel verfügt jetzt über drei Bars, von denen eine über einen großen Kamin verfügt, ein wunderschönes Restaurant mit Blick auf den Dorfgarten und elf Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad zur Unterbringung. Sie können entweder im Restaurant oder in der Lounge und der gemütlichen Bar speisen. Im Winter gibt es einen Kamin mit loderndem Feuer. Die Leute können draußen in der Sommersonne zu Mittag essen. Die Aussicht ist herrlich, in einigen Richtungen panoramisch. Der Dales Room bietet Platz für bis zu 80 Personen und ist perfekt für besondere Anlässe wie Hochzeitsempfänge, Geburtstage und Familientreffen. Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. First tour departs at 11:00 am during the week, and 10:00 am during the weekend and holidays. Last tour depends on the sunset, which varies by season.
