Your group will be treated to a ghostly experience during a 90-120 minute walking tour, 3-hour bus excursion, or pick a custom experience with food and alcohol options or a family-oriented experience as well. In August of 2016, chef Laurel Burleson launched the Ugly Apple Food Cart. She has been cooking in professional kitchens since high school and has a degree in hospitality management. After cooking for several years around Chicago and Madison, she saw how much was going to waste of this fantastic Midwestern produce. She envisioned owning a cafe that focused on delicious local produce. Hence, the Ugly Apple was born. Like the story of the Ugly Duckling, the Ugly Apple might not be bought at market but can still make a beautiful fritter.
