About us
Simunye is located near Melmoth, a scenic two-hour drive from Durban or about five hours drive from Johannesburg. It is in these beautiful hills that famous wars have been won and lost, in these fertile pastures that the Zulu people have grazed their cattle and constructed their villages. At Simunye, we have imitated the swallows and eagles and built a conference centre into the cliff face itself, with a spectacular view out over the river. Nature has done the rest by creating an ambience which is both primal and timeless.
