About us
Monate Lodge is located in Nylstroom. It is nestled in manicured gardens on a 1839 hectare private reserve in the Limpopo province within easy reach of the Gauteng area. This area is beautiful in its diversity, ranging from open plains to typical bushveld and interesting rocky outcrops, caves and koppies. It is an elegant and peaceful break away retreat where the guests can enjoy the tranquility of the bush whilst being treated like royalty. Monate Lodge is ideal for a weekend escape or corporate getaway as it is situated just 2 hours from OR Tambo International Airport. The guests at Monate Lodge are accommodated in the 3 rustic, free standing family suites or in the 14 guest rooms at the main lodge or 2 elite luxury tented suites which are within walking distance from the main lodge and dining areas. It offers a unique setting for large or small conferences, corporate workshops, senior management meetings and team-building. Monate Lodge has two conference venues situated close to the lodge where one can enjoy the tranquility of the bush whilst conducting business in a conducive atmosphere. The conference facilities include a main conference room which can accommodate a maximum of 60 delegates for day conference groups and a smaller conference room which can accommodate up to 18 people.
