About us

Castel Bigozzi, eine der ältesten und umkämpften Burgen dieser Gegend, erhebt sich im Land von Strove. Es ist eine Hotelresidenz, die Gästen aus aller Welt Gastfreundschaft bietet. Ein idealer Ort, um Ruhe zu finden und einen erholsamen Urlaub zu verbringen, in einem Land, das das ganze Jahr über immer wieder überrascht. Das Hotel bietet 16 Suiten und ein Doppelzimmer zur Unterbringung. Das Doppelzimmer mit Holzbalkendecke und spektakulärem Blick über die umliegende Landschaft ist mit toskanischen Antiquitäten eingerichtet. Die Suiten, die sich voneinander unterscheiden, bestehen aus zwei separaten Räumen: einem Wohnbereich und einem Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett. Alle Zimmer haben eine herrliche Aussicht.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
