About us
Club Elani is situated in the heart of the Swartland, an easy hour's drive from Cape Town or from Langebaan or from Ceres. It is an exclusive Holiday Resort at Misverstand Dam on the banks of the Berg River. The resort has various comfortable guest cottages and houses. It also offers so many different options for special events including outside venues, inside function venues, accommodation and mouth-watering specially-prepared boerekos. The meeting space ranges from 10 - to over 200 guests and includes three meeting rooms - The Koringsaal - a brand new air conditioned hall, The Veranda & The Garden Marquee.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
