This hotel is a Verified Net Zero Hotel and Green Key certified: We are advancing towards Net Zero with maximum carbon emissions reduction and offsetting of all remaining emissions; We monitor and reduce energy and water consumption through efficient systems and fixtures; We implement waste sorting and recycling solutions, eliminate single-use plastics, and manage chemicals responsibly; We maintain a sustainability policy, train team members, and inform guests about eco-conscious practices. In any of the Radisson hotels M&E your meeting is carbon compensated – this is different in a Verified Net Zero hotel, as the energy is 100% from renewable sources and the carbon footprint of materials available (pens, pads, stationary) is calculated annually and removed through carbon removal credits, supporting regenerative agriculture farmers in the UK and Europe.

Yes. The hotel ensures that all purchased electricity is sourced from renewable energy, supported by verified sourcing contracts and tracking mechanisms such as Guarantees of Origin (GoO). In addition, domestic hot water and space heating are supplied through the city’s District Heating network, which uses a renewable energy mix exceeding 98%. This is monitored annually in collaboration with the energy supplier, and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) are available to provide transparency on the energy sources used for heating.
