Das Baptisterium des Heiligen Johannes in Pisa ist ein römisch-katholisches Kirchengebäude. Mit dem Bau wurde 1152 begonnen, um ein älteres Baptisterium zu ersetzen. Als es 1363 fertiggestellt wurde, wurde es in chronologischer Reihenfolge das zweite Gebäude auf der Piazza dei Miracoli, in der Nähe des Duomo di Pisa und des freistehenden Glockenturms der Kathedrale, dem berühmten Schiefen Turm von Pisa. Das Baptisterium wurde von Diotisalvi entworfen, dessen Signatur auf zwei Säulen im Inneren des Gebäudes mit dem Datum 1153 zu lesen ist.

Der Schiefe Turm von Pisa ist der Glockenturm der Kathedrale der italienischen Stadt Pisa, der weltweit für seine unbeabsichtigte Neigung bekannt ist. Es befindet sich hinter der Kathedrale und ist nach der Kathedrale und dem Baptisterium das drittälteste Bauwerk auf dem Domplatz von Pisa (oder Piazza dei Miracoli). Die Neigung des Turms begann während der Bauarbeiten, verursacht durch ein unzureichendes Fundament auf einem Boden, der auf einer Seite zu weich war, um das Gewicht des Bauwerks angemessen zu tragen.
