About us

Das Hard Rock Cafe serviert seit mehr als 25 Jahren Einheimische und Besucher von Ost-Tennessee. Unser Standort in Pigeon Forge verfügt über 12.000 Quadratmeter stilvoller Fläche, darunter Sitzplätze für mehr als 350 Gäste, private Veranstaltungsräume für bis zu 500 Personen, eine Außenterrasse (eine hundefreundliche Terrasse), eine Live-Musikbühne und einen Rock Shop®. Das Hard Rock Cafe Pigeon Forge bietet einen einzigartigen Einblick in die Geschichte und Zukunft der Musik. Drei einzigartige Speisebereiche bieten Erinnerungsstücke von drei unserer Lieblingsmusiklegenden: Dolly Parton, Jimi Hendrix und Taylor Swift. In unserem Café sind Hunderte von Sammlerstücken ausgestellt, darunter ausgefranste Hosen von Shania Twain, ein einzigartiges Hard Rock x Orange County Choppers Motorrad und ein dreistufiger Rock mit Strasssteinen, der von der lokalen Legende Dolly Parton getragen wurde. Pigeon Forge ist bekannt als das Zentrum des Vergnügens in den Smokies, und unser Hard Rock Cafe befindet sich in der Mitte von allem. Old Hickory, Tennessee was a lot like other company towns of the 1920’s South. The village was built and owned by the areas sole employer, E.I. DuPont Nemours & Company. Old Hickory Country Club was founded in 1926 by the DuPont Company for their employees. The golf course was once the residence of the French Huguenots family, the Bondurants. The original Bondurant house was torn down in the 1940’s and replaced with a replica which is what we now know as Old Hickory Country Club. The quest for excellent golf lead R.F. "Bob" Rives, Ky Williams, Frank Ernst, Bob Megee, Laird Stabler and Tom Evans of the DuPont community, to visit "Boss" Robinson, who was living in the Bondurant house at the time. "Boss" Robinson granted permission for The DuPont Men to layout the golf course. The Men hired Belle Meade golf pro, George Livingstone, to design the course. Early greens were built of sand over sprayed with cottonseed oil to impart a solid putting surface. The original club opened with just 6 holes, but expanded to 18 holes in the summer of 1941. Even today, Livingstone's handiwork is discernible at different points throughout the course. Many great athletes have history planted in The Club including Golf Pro Harold Eller and Charles H. Alexander (Pro Alex). Harold Eller was the golf pro at Old Hickory Country Club from 1945-1979 and we host a Pro-Am tournament annually in his memory
